Poker was cancelled so I listened with no distractions.

Good comment about overstocking. Since my fuge is a sump/fuge it is rather small and so I don't put much in there. There used to be a pepp. shrimp, but now there's only one snail with the cheato. It's a New England native snail with a proboscis similar to the nassarius.

What is that media for cultivating sponges in the dark? Layers of filter pad and what else? I didn't quite catch it at the time.

you can use many thing, but i think what Dave was mentioning was filter pads on egg crate

I use egg-crate and window screening (plastic for screen doors).
