Well here it is, the long awaited seahorse show. Joining us again this week to tell us all about seahorses and there care, is our own David Perry, we will cover everything from basic tank setup, filtration, feeding, and tank mates.
If there is anyone who can talk as much as Dave.. it's Rob.
It's actually quite fun. Our recording is much like any phone call we've had. I'ts real comfortable just having a conversation. What makes it more fun (other than a real, down to earth host) is that I get to speak about what it is that I'm "into". These lil' ponies just amaze me and I'm glad to pass along some of the information I've found when researching them.
Something you all NEED to know is how great a job that Rob does editing. I rambled on even more so and, as always, had my share of bloopers. I think it is a good episode and I'm glad to have helped.
MAKE SURE you bring up any questions in the seahorse forum. I welcome ANY feedback as it pertains to the content. Especially if you can help set things "right". I'm STILL a newbie with all of you and wouldn't want to pass on any misinformation. Call me on it. You owe it to the community.
Have a great weekend...gonna snow again tonight *sigh* Is it Spring yet???
I'm STILL a newbie with all of you and wouldn't want to pass on any misinformation.
dave,
im convinced that even after you have been doing this for another 20 years you would call yourself a newb...lol...
dont cut yourself short.. while i understand and respect your viewpoint, you know more than you may portray... but that said, we all continue to learn every day...
so i guess we all are newbs... always..

I used to think I knew everything... then I began to truly learn and then learn more....I now realize that I know nothing. I'm always a newbie and that's that.
Great show...lots of great information. I'm still considering horses...but probably not now until I can really take care of them. I think the show made me realize they're not that difficult, but I really can't give them what they need right now, due to finances and time.
Thanks,
Jon
that was a great show, what ever happned to the co-host you had? I think Dave would make a great one, and you can let Gwen do your intro!
i really enjoy doing shows with dave, we work well together, but that is up to him ... he is doing alot for the show as it is.. i am sure he will be on more shows in the future...

What...a venue for me to ramble on about one of my life's passions? You bet I'll be back; both on the podcasts and as much as I can help here, in the forums.
The one problem with "Dave" is that I spread myself too thin. I'm on the Board of Directors for far too many professional and local social boards. I coach no fewer than 3 baseball teams a year and that alone is enough to drive me crazy. I just don't know how to say "no" especially when it comes to kids and my hobbies.
Whenever I have the time to contribute here, you know I will. I love nothing more than to give back to the community(ies) that have helped me along the way in my habit...er...hobby.
