Kalk - Podcast Episode 13

Im back with a bit of information about Kalkwasser AKA Limewater. A great and cheap way to maintain calcium and Alkalinity levels in your reef tank. Please stay tuned for the special Question and Answer show, with my new co-host. This Q/A episode should be out soon.

stevo is an unknown quantity at this point
I just purchased a Tunze ozmolator 3155 ato set up and am wondering where the best place is to place it in a 28 gal jbj nano HQI sump area. Does anyone have any experience with this ? I have heard that the ato systems are a problem since the wave maker that comes with the unit lowers the water level when in operation and prematurely activates the ato.

Help!

i would say, but have no nano experience, that it will HAVE to go in a place of constant water level (where only evaperation will affect the water level). i have mine in the sump.

If the 28 is anything like the 12, it would have to go in the last chamber where the return pump is. That's where your evaporation will show up.
