lots of micro bubbles

Hello all, quick newbie question. My tank has lots of micro bubbles flying around. Is this common and is there anything I can do to get rid of them.

My specs:
29g Biocube, bio balls removed and replace with a polishing pad.
Ammonia= 0, Nitrite = 0
No fish yet just watching to make sure I don't get a spike, it's been 2 weeks. I'm using NSW and I got my LR and sand from an active tank.

Thanks

have you always had them? Are you sure they are bubbles and not white or clearish specks? In the pump section relatively full so the pump cant suck air?

-I think so.
-There are a few specks but it looks like mostly air. When I turn my pump off it clears up.
-yes

They COULD be bad if they collect on corals.

Now you say they go away when you turn off the return pump. I'd inspect the return pump itself, make sure a seal isn't loose. Also take a look at all the tubing coming from the return pump... there could be a spot where its not sealed completely and might be sucking in just a tiny bit of air.
