Hey everyone!
i'm new to Talking Reef and to the hobby as a whole!
i've been going through and checking out alot of the different topics in the Forum and i've downloaded ALL of the Podcast (i'm on #3... only about 120 left haha).
anyway i just wanted to say hi to everyone... and let everyone know how much i appreciate all your help with everything (everything i've already learned from just reading and everything that i will continue to learn from asking LOTS of questions!)
I had a 55 gal tank given to me the end of april so i've been working on it since may.. then i was given a 26 gal a few weeks ago so thats cycling right now...
i have a few inverts in my 55 gal right now but thats it (pep shrimp, skunk cleaner, 2 emerald crabs, few snails and a few hermits)...
I'm really looking forward to some good convos here!

Don't hesitate to ask questions, we are here to help. You're living in a great area too. A group of TR folks from that area of FL have formed a reef club! I am sure that one or all of them will jump in here. south florida how do I find you?

Please feel free to start a tank journal and share photos and details of your tanks.

Oh, maybe I am confused. I thought that Lake City was down by Ft Lauderdale.

no I'm up where I-10 and I-75 cross... north of gainesville and in the middle of Jacksonville and Tallahassee.

Well unless you are wanting to drive a few hours (and it would be worth the drive to meet with these folks!) you will just have to forego face to face interaction and hang out with us at the lounge.
