Help identifying things

We have had our tank for a few months now and we seem to have new hitchhickers showing up daily. Could you please help me identify some of these things.

First we have a crab that just appeared. It has green legs and its back is green with some black in it. Here is a picture. We have the crab separated for now but if he is safe to keep I will put it back in.

Next this looks like a clam shell. It is attached to the rock and has been there since we got this rock. Over the past few days I have noticed it opening and closing and little white things sticking out of it when it is open.

We also seem to have some plants growing. These are hard to get a clear picture of but I am hoping it si clearn enough to be identified. One picture has two plants in them. The other picture has a stick like thing that is growing all over the rock.

We also have some things growing that we can't get a picture of. They are pink in colour and are in the underside of our rock cave in the back. Has anyone had this before.

Here is a picture of our whole tank.

Hello and welcome

I LIVE for hitchers!!!! Its sooo much fun to see what pops out! Whenever I get a new piece of live rock, I spend days just gazing, looking for something. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised and sometimes alarmed!

Your 'plants' are macro algae I think. The one in front looks like it could be halimeda, the pink one in the back, I had at one time and really loved it, it didnt survive my low lighting at the time, I was disappointed. I dont remember the name, but it should be easy to look up. Maybe someone else remembers the name
I am not familiar with the stick-looking ones though.

I had several large bivalves (clam-type) that came attached to my live rock, they were very hardy, and I had them for a long time, but I eventually lost a few and I think it is because I now run at a higher temp than I did before going reef.

Maybe someone can help with your crab, Ive had similar ones hitch in, I didnt worry much about them then because I really didnt keep anything that they could bother at that time

The pink things in the cave are probably foraminferans and they are good guys. I have them in pink, red and white.

nothing really LOOKS like anything to worry about, but i would ditch the crab just to be safe.

in pic 3 on top, it look like an aiptasia that i would kill with some Joes Juice.
