What are the little gnat like things running around my LR? Sorry don't have a picture, just have a cheap point and shoot, but this is a new tank with cured live rock. Thanks.

doese it look like this? These are amphipods, great fish food if you have them!

Yes I think so. No fish yet just set up the LR in tank.

If thats what they are, youre fortunate! I take good care to ensure their survival, though I wont get into the obsessive ways that I do so!

If they are really tiny they are copepods. To me they look like little whitish periods on the glass. Amphipods are bigger, I can actually make them out as little comma shaped bugs.
