new set up please help

Hi I'm new to this site could some one help me on setting up the filter system on my tank.I would like to set the filter down stairs in the basement and the tank on the first floor.Does anyone have pictures or ideas on how i can set the wetdry with the protein skimmer and back to the tank.

to do this, you will need an external pump that can handle the head pressure of pumping the water back upstairs. i like the GenX pumps personally.

what you are asking is kind of complicated, but certainly doable. We need a little more info..

What size tank do you have? How old is it? Is it drilled for an overflow or "Reef Ready"?

Hi it's a 120 tank and it is drilled on the top back in the bottom center and two holes on the middle of the rear of the tank I will try and post a picture if I can thanks .
