Is Leo reef safe

Now.... I Want to know if I can start stocking My tank with corals..... I still have my loinfish and I would like to keep him for now..... I do understand that a loinfish is not reef safe.... but Why...... is it because it would eat other fishes or what..... I just want to stock my tank with corals and corals only....

They will definitely eat other fish, shrimp, etc.
I'll admit I haven't heard of them hurting corals though. It would make it hard to work in the tank adding and rearranging corals etc.

I think Lynn is right. The "not reef safe" designation comes fom their eating shrimp, fish and other inverts. I have seen reef displays with a lion as the only fish. They're quite striking and they don't seem to bother the corals at all.
