Sponges, how to keep these?

Having listened to the podcasts about the Fuge, I decided to get some Sponges. Well now that it is home, what do I need to do to keep it healthy?

im far from the sponge expert, but most of them are simple filter feeders likely gather free nutrients from the water, adding phytoplankton to the tank will likely also benefit its greatly. many sponges have specific lighting needs also, some like dark, some like bright light, few fall in between (to my limited knowledge). im not sure where this one falls, but if its doesn't respond well in the light i would suggest moving it to a darker area

and before anyone else jumps in on this i will nip it in the bud.
its is not recommended to get something then ask for care guidance, we strongly recommend doing your homework on the specimen in question before you purchase.

ok, now that thats out of the way, we will still do the best we can, and hopefully someone will chime in with more into for ya, as i mentioned im not expert on them, the only ones i have ever kept are the ones that just apear in my tnak and live on there own..
