How much rock is needed for cycling?

Just wondering if there is a standard for this. I have a 20 gal that I am using as a spare, and need to know how much rocks to pull from my regular tank to get the cycling done.

well i would go with 5 Lbs minimum, then get a piece of frozen raw table shrimp, and toss that in there for 2-3 days, that will get it going as
