Pump for NanoCube 24

I'm looking for recommendations for my NC 24. The return pump has gone out today and by the time I got home the LFS was closed. I have one of the small Fraggle Reef pumps to move water but it will not function as a return. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should replace the stock pump with? If you have up sized did you develop heat issues? Right now mine never runs hot and I want to avoid problems.

I had a MJ 900 on the 12 with no heat issues.

I use a MJ-900 on my 12 also. I would recommend a MJ-1200 for the 24.

One of the smaller Ehiems might work really well too.
