Aqua Medic Chromis?

Me Again,

I still haven't decided on a tank, but I was in a lfs one lunchtime and was discussing nano tanks with one of the staff. He mentioned that I should go for an Aqua Medic Chromis. I thought it actually looked ok as they have one already set up in the store. So I guess that my question is? is it any good? Reliable? If anybody has one do they regret having one?

Any information on this tank would be much apreciated as I cannot find any comment from anyone on the net using one. My biggest problem with regard to this tank is the light, there is no way I can have it hanging from the ceiling so do the make a stand for the light or is there another way round this?

Thanks

CarmieJo is on a distinguished road
Hey posa,

I haven't heard of these but a search shows that they are mostly available in the UK. I don't know if Finnex International Corporation is available in the UK but I was really impressed with their M tank when I saw it at MACNA in September.

Thanks Carmiejo

I have decided instead to go for an RSM, I caled the LFS this lunchtimewith regard to the Chromis and although it is a very reliable system there were a couple of issues I had with it. Firstly the light was always going to be an issue, there was no way I was going to suspend it from my ceiling, although they did offer a wall bracket I just didn't want to drill holes all over the place. Secondly was the tidiness aspect, I can live with the stuff you get in the kit, but the guy at the lfs said I would also need to buya couple more things ie pump was one but I forgot the other, which begins to make it look a little untidy.

Oh well at least I have made a decision and all I have to do now is clear out my bedroom so it can go in.

Thanks for your help it has been very much apreciated.

P.S. This guy has an awesome tank
