I was going to make a micro-shot glass display, sadly after getting out the shot glass, it just had to be used. Back to the drawing board, perhaps a wine glass - now, where did I put that bottle of wine ?

Maybe a micro-shot glass fuge..... a SSB, a pinch of micro algea for flavor and topped of with a tiger pod perhaps gently shaken, not stirred?
grrr, don't tell me I need to find a glass thimble for the ultimate micro-pico, illuminated with a single LED !!!! of course the shot glass could be used as a RDSB, got to get my water volume up somehow!
I can sense V out there already looking for something smaller than a shot glass!
A show you definately wont know, cause its ozzie "community channel" cheap aired station material stuff, but the shows called 'blokes world' basicly 2 ozzies create a show on things they love, dirt bikes, beers, pole dancers, the list go's on, but it reminded me of a saying / title they have for this asian kung foo doo segment that i wanted to relay to you. "You me carpark now" You & me are about to start up a micro segment. Im tired of waiting - i want to have some fun! rules: 2 weeks max to prepare a mini set up out of any items your mind can bend to! Full working models a must & design concepts must be capped to max $60 per round if you need to buy external componantry. 10 gal max, although im sure we wont reach that much..lol You can choose you for-go live stock in favour of design. Although livestock will be classified as bonus kudos.
looks like the challenge has been extended !! will it be accepted ??
opps, maybe we should move this, rob thought it was mixed up in the site suggestion stuff. doing a lovely job rob, this is a stand alone bordom project that im pitching to anyone that wants to join me.
That would be HUGE for a micro. I say, we go for the 1-gallon max sized pico, and perhaps even less for a micro. I have a cunning plan for lighting already though don't think I can actually get a powerhead small enough to provide water movement in my insane evil plan! Of course, the micro actually has to be a running tank/micro habitat and capable of keeping something alive for a while!
I was surfing around for micro water components last night, I found a tiny little pump for scientific/medical use (pumped a few liters per hour!), alas, it would blow our budget on it's own ! So much for providing water flow in my shot-glass ! Seems also that 1g-3g is considered "Pico", 3g to 20g a nano, there is a femta category for volumes less than 1g now! So, we are on the bottom end of the "pico". Saw a nice picture of someone who used a plant vase as a tank! Seems like some crazy folks out there --- and we are about to join there ranks! My next of kin are notified and I am searching for components now! Problem areas already are micro
