Sapphire Aquatics

Hello all-

I was doing some searches on Nano-reef.com and stumbled upon a recent thread about problems associated with a person's Sapphire skimmer and a few mentions of how the owner of Sapphire Aquatics was either leaving or taking a break from the hobby. Lastly, there was another person who had an unresolved support problem.

I went to the Sapphire Aquatics website and the Store seems to be broken and/or defunct. Hard to tell.

This post is intended as a heads-up for those considering a Sapphire skimmer for their nano. They seem to be great little skimmers from what I've heard until now, and the one I saw in person seemed to be a little jewel...but I would caution those who are buying a Sapphire skimmer from a vendors stock if there may be little support from the company.

Lets hope this is not the case. Please do not take this heads-up as definite fact.

It seems as if Sapphire Aquatics has been termintated. Read about it here in this post. I wish Kyle well and hope he rebounds.
