Aquapod Advice

I am looking into the standard version of the aquapod 24 gallon, the cheaper one. Anyone who has had experience with this tank please post your thoughts on it as a tank and how suitable it is for a beginner to saltwater. Thank you.

I happen to like them. It is a good starter tank IMO. the only issue that I have is the temp tends to stay higher than most tanks. They really are a great plug and play set up.

Common wisdom says that beginners should use a larger tank. I'm ~3mos in to using a BioCube 14 as my first NaCl tank, and thus far all is well. Can't comment specifically on the Aquapod.

The reason that beginners often fare better with a bigger tank is because they are more forgiving. You must be meticulous about water changes and keep a close eye on your water parameters. I just got a NanoCube 24 about a month ago and so far I like it. It has the stock pump and PC lights. It runs at about 79* which is 2 degrees cooler than my 54.

also dont do like most folks and start with to small of a tank

. go as largest as you can IMO. that way ya dont haft to upgrade to soon.
