Upgrade BC29 lights without mods?

Can anyone give me any pointers on getting better lights for my BC29 without having to make any mods?

Are you wanting to keep the same hood on it?

Or are you wanting to ditch the hood and get different lights all together?

Same hood. Just some different bulbs that would still fit the hood without any mods done.

I agree with Rob....you can't really get better lighting using the same hood without some sort of modifications. One place I would definately check out though is nanotuners.com. They have DIY lighting kits just for the Biocube......and they even make a kit to put a metal halide light in the stock hood. I actually ordered an upgrade kit for my 12 gallon nanocube, which adds an extra 24 watt compact fluorescent bulb to the stock hood, and it came with very detailed instructions w/pics to help you install it.

I hope this helps!
