Clownfish Clips

I know this might sound stupid but I see those clownfish clips stuck to the side of everyone's tank. What are they for and should I get one?

I think whitevillian is talking about the veggie clips. If these are what I believe you are talking about they are used to hold seaweed etc for the herbivores to feed on in the tank without making a mess such as tangs etc. A picture would make sure we are on the same page.

Yeah... those are used to hold nori and other green stuff for tangs and other herbivores. The clownfish ones are ugly if you ask me. Like putting a bubbling treasure chest in your reef tank .. blech.
