Anthony Calfo Says...

This is a review from Anthony's latest issue...C...The Journal...Now, its time to upgrade your topoffs!

He's using two units in his own tank. Eric Borneman is also using one.

that's cool...thanks for sharing....

I actually noticed the "fragnets" that are mentioned in the little blurb just above...I was reading about these a couple of weeks ago and thought I might try to buy some while I'm in the US next month. They seem to be super handy!!

I ordered a bunch of the Level Loc Auto Top Off units.

They look really well made. I'll let you know when they come in.

Hey V, that post didn't bother me. Having Anthony Calfo, author of several books on coral propagation and reef inhabitants, and Eric Borneman, a coral guru, using the device and reporting on it was an endorsement. No problem buddy.

Veriann...I can get you one as far as Sydney in June. My daughter lives in Balmoral Beach. She'll be home in late May and be here for three weeks...then back to Sydney. Could you get it from there???

Level Loc Auto Top Off

I received the shipment of Level Loc auto top off units from GAP Products. The first thing I noticed is the quality construction. The Level Loc is not a flimsy unit like some on the market. It is built to last. There is little in the way of automated construction with this custom unit. Each one is literally hand made. The owner's of GAP Products are to be commended on designing what appears to be a well thought out, sturdy, precise instrument.

The Level Loc has two methods of water shut-off. The first is the float valve. As a back up, in case the float valve gets stuck, a low voltage solenoid valve will shut the unit off to avoid flooding.

It installs in just minutes (no tools necessary), easily adjustable to meet your required water level, and can be used with an RO/DI unit or gravity feed.

It's not cheap at $96.95 but, quality never is. You can get yours from The Cultured Reef with free shipping, here Level Loc Auto Top Off

I need to "clean up" the sump area before I can install my Level Loc on the 135 system.
