Any test kit suitable for those that have partial color blindness

Hi all,

I am wondering whether there is test kit that is suitable for people with partial color blindness. Test kit that had strong changes of color would be suitable such as color change from blue to yellow.

I fouund this test kit from Seachem MultiTest Marine pH and Alkalinity. The Alkalinity test by counting the number of drop of the reagent for the sample to change from blue to yellow.

I am looking for similiar type of test kit for Ca, Nitrate etc.

Many hobbyist that have the same eye problem as me will benefit greatly from this type of test kit.

Thanks

Rogersoh...

Many MEN are color blind ...period.

I do like Seachem tests. They are pretty accurate and easy to use. Plus, we ALL need to remember that most "hobby grade" test kits are not 100% accurate. I'd not worry about the tiny differences, but the overall "range". Ensure that you are in a good range and most importantly, ensure that the chemistry/parameters are CONSISTENT. It is better, for instance, to have a PH that reads 8.0 faitfully (according to your kits) than it is to have 8.2 on Monday, 7.9 on Tuesday etc.

Finally, although somewhat expensive, MOST parameters that we, the hobbyist, are interested in can be measured by way of digital technology. Again, it is not cheap, but the products are available.

presently I have problem to check the nitrate level as I am unable to get a test kit that had a very significant colour change. Everytime when I need to do the test I need to get the help of my neighbour to help me to see the result.

Thank Rob, you are great.

I will check it out on its price, may get it if it is within my budget. At least with this instrument I can perform the necessary test before I dose any chemical in the tank.

cheers
