pH meters

I was just looking at the post regarding the hydrometers, so this is kind of the logical next question: Which pH meter is better? I have seen soooo many on the market from fluid drops, test strips, and the digital meters (+-.01, +-.001 accuracy). Any recomendations?

To throw in my own opinion, i personally dispise the test strips (the paper dippy things). I find them to be difficult to read and impercise. I don't mind the strips for other stuff, such as nitrate, nitrite, etc. But since pH is a logarithmic scale a change of .5 matters! having said this, however, i have yet to purcase a digital one, and therein lies my second question, relating to the ROI (cost/benefit) analysis mentioned in the hydrometer posts, is a +- .001 worth the extra money over the +-.01?

the digital meters are best IMO.
the will give you a constant digital read out of the PH in the tank.. with a quick glance you get your reading

I am actually upgrading my system to have a reefkeeper 2 because our local reef club is doing a group buy. After I get it setup, I am going to add a pH probe to it so I have a constant readout.
