I was just looking at the post regarding the
hydrometers, so this is kind of the logical next question: Which
pH meter is better? I have seen soooo many on the market from fluid drops, test strips, and the digital meters (+-.01, +-.001 accuracy). Any recomendations?
To throw in my own

opinion, i personally dispise the test strips (the paper dippy things). I find them to be difficult to read and impercise. I don't mind the strips for other stuff, such as
nitrate,
nitrite, etc. But since
pH is a logarithmic scale a change of .5 matters! having said this, however, i have yet to purcase a digital one, and therein lies my second question, relating to the ROI (cost/benefit) analysis mentioned in the
hydrometer posts, is a +- .001 worth the extra money over the +-.01?
