Presuming you have a media container in your canister filter, I would put a couple of tablespoons of carbon in it and change it weekly.

Hey, i noticed you had mated pair of clowns... Have you reared any of the offspring? And do you sell them if so? I had a great loss when i moved my tank to new address. I lost 90% of my corals and fish! I am looking to find frags and restock the tank to its full glory!... I have a thread posted in general discussions that will explain my situation further. I would be interested in your clown babies if you are rearing them.... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about where to get a reflector. I would make a post in the lighting section and ask there. Someone will probably have a good suggestion.

Clowns will host in almost anything, acans included. I'd definitely worry about them hurting the acans though. They're easy to tear. Even best case, they won't inflate if they're being hosted in. I'm due to trim my cheato coming up soon. I'll let you know when it's on the way.
  6. The Swamp Things...the red ones in the pic and Radioactives (greens)are the only two at the moment....if you want the green and wanna do a trade the piece I have has at least 40-50 polyps...would call for nice chunk of blue...ill post a pic on the Zoa thread.

I see a couple I wouldn't mind getting. You wanna send me a list of what you have that's big enough to frag? you can email it or PM me if you like. Shipping zoas is a breeze. They're pretty much tough as nails. 2nd day shipping in a little water is usually just fine. Prices are going to depend on what you want and how big a frag. The tubbs blues are a little more expensive than most (but not in Darth Maul territory ). I happen to have a frag of that ready to go. 15 polyps or so. I definitely prefer trading, as it benefits both parties IMO, but sometimes selling is the way to go. Nearly everything I have is fragable.

I've gotten them here and there. Some mail order, mostly through trades and LFS. I'm always looking for trades, and I do sell as well.

To post a new thread click on Forums in the bar on the top right side of the screen. Then click on the forum you want to post in and there should be a button at the top of the forum section (right beside Photo of the Month) that you click to start a new thread.
