  1. Thank you for the info Carmie Jo. I was hoping you or someone could help me. About 3 week ago I converted in 55 gallon to saltwater. Since then I have read so many negatives about the tank size 48 x 12 x 24, it is not drilled and I can't keep tangs so I found a second hand stand (beautiful) very solid 72 X 18, I can have the tank with it 72 X 18 X 23 for an extra $100.00. I would have to have it drilled and build my own corner boxes? Or a new tank this size here is $525.00 and the store will give me $300.00 for my 55 gallon with stand and canopy. I don't know what is involved with drilling and setting overflow etc. Need Help, the guy with the second hand tank wants an answer tonight

    Hi Missy,

Dick's journal is here http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/me...-gal-reef.html. He, like many of us actually has the link in his signature at the bottom of each post. In the site navigation pane on the left you can click on Member Tank Journals and see them all. You can also use this link to start your own journal. A journal is a great place to document your progress and ask questions.
