as requested, here is more information on our unique concept of suspended aquariums.

Two models of Spacearium are available: pedestal mounted or suspended directly from the ceiling.

Standard sizes are 72 inch long X 28.5 in high X 12 in wide (55gals) or 60X28.5X14 inches (58 gals). Others lengths are available on request.

This new concept is so unique that few patents have been applied for. This aquarium allow you to divide your living space with a "virtual partition".
This partition let the light come trough, has no bulky furniture to support the aquarium as such and due to is elliptic shape, give you a please view of the marine life wherever you stand in the room since there is no visual obstruction around the tank.

Prices begin at $4,900 US for a 5 feet system with basic suspended configuration.

The sophisticated filter system is mounted in the stand base or remotely when the aquarium is suspended from the ceiling. Remote filter can be
installed in a closet or cabinet close from the aquarium, in the basement,in a closet at the upper floor.

Just a little update...

My Chaetomorpha had filled my little space in the sump/fuge section....so I decided to play a little. I went out and bought a rubbermaid tub and added that to my system.

I bought a 1 inch bulkhead off the net, and 1 inch pvc pipe and fittings, along with the tub at Menards.

Here's a pic of the pipes right after gluing the initial sections.


And how they looked all glued up...except one section, I put the bulkhead in the tub and then glued that up.


And to get an idea of what it will look like, here's a pic but with the tub back facing me....that is up against the wall after I was all finished.

Now I have a little more space in my fuge, the Chaetomorpha isn't filling the entire space.


What I took out of the fuge is now in the tub, along with another 10 gallons of water.


A pic of the overall setup I have now...I pulled hair algae out after the pic...should have done that before I took the pic.


I need to get a powerhead that's just a little larger to pump water up into the tub, it sits in the return pump section. I also need to get another fitting to redirect the water coming from the tub back into the fuge...just so it's not splashing so much. I may even pickup yet another powerhead to just move the water around more in the tub.

I'm just having fun dabbling here and there....26gal tank, 20gal long for sump/fuge, and now a 14gal rubbermaid tub with 10 gal of water for a big growout spot for the Chaetomorpha.

Yeah, eventually I want to pickup a 10 gallon glass tank and drill that....and use that instead of the tub. At least I can see how the drilling works, and maybe later down the road I'll even attempt it on my 26 gal tank (a ways down the road I think). But I just want to get some experience drilling a tank...plus it's be more fun to see what's going on in the chaeto tank if it were glass.
