I went to LFS today to get more salt, and came home with some more snails and hermits for my tank. decided to add a little more to my cleanup crew.

Nice!! Yeah it always happens like that. You go in for just one item & you come out with 5-6 items more..LOL By the way how's your tank doing? Are you done drilling holes? I'm going to get some NSW at my LFS today, hopefully I only come out with water :-)

Might be thinking of Jimm concerning the drilling. I have an overflow box on my 26. Might attempt drilling in the far off future.

So far these are my Params on the new tank: Tank Start 3/4/06
Test taken 3/26/06
Ammonia= 0
Nitrite= .1
Nitrate= 25
PH= 8.3
KH= 12.5
Salinity= 1.027
all tested using Salifert test kits & a refractometer for salinity.
I still have to test the Calcium & Phosphates.

Hi Christi--Ooops..That's the new "Gonzo Calendar Days" :-)

I'll have to edit that. I have to lower my Nitrates & get the Nitrite to zero.

Update on Params: tested last night.
Ammonia= 0
Nitrite= .01 (Higher Sensitivity Test on Salifert)
Nitrate= 10
PH= 8.3
KH= 12.5

Getting some inverts today. Nassarius Snails, Hermits, cerith snails & a couple of cleaner shrimps.
