who have the bigest tank in talking reef

NOT ME! I have a 180 display, with a 55 gallon fuge and 2 X 20 gallon sumps for a total water capacity of 275 gallons.

Not me with my 54 corner + 10 gallons in the sump. I vote for ReefBaby. She is in the midst of a 1600 liter tank build.

hey carmy how are you lol i guess you will have to change your vote if is like that i am in the making of my new tank just to give you a good idea 96x36wx30h start phi-re glass island tank with a 120g sump/refugium and a 40g frag tank all in one system

btw

the reason why i ask who have the biggest tank on TR is because i see people here but they don't post big tanks

probably not me ... i have 125gal & 55gal displays, 116gal frag tank, 30gal fuge, about 80gal in the 100 gal rubbermaid stock tank sump, for a 406gal total ... BUT I AM NOT DONE YET !!

reef keeper that is a nice setup i hope to see more coming

i don't mean to brag about it but if is like that i have to do the math

tank 420g
sump is a 150g acrylic tank water in is no less then 120g
connected to all this will be a 40g frag tank plus 500g sea water container and 2X55g fresh water container

lol and if you calculate 8w X 28"H is rufflly 30g
skimmer will be diy will be aroud 70g
carbon reactor 20g
plus piping around 30g

a grand total of 1300G wow never pass by my head

i know the only part with is not going to be under the tank will be the 500g sea water that will be pump out to the outside of the house and the tank will be underground

I just upgraded from 10 gallons to 100g display + 75g sump. No where near your 11,000+ lbs tank but i am trying

well i start it to get some stuff i will try a difrent aproch in my 180g i was using close loop now i want to go with tunze wave box and 2X tunze 6080 and 2X6100 tunze

now to open the cand of wormes BB or DSB help me out on this one

That's a lot of sand! But I would go DSB anyhow. I like the look of sand and I think that the benefits outweigh the risks.
