as for the time, its about 11:30pm, 23:30 monday, so abit of a difference
Woah, it's Thursday here. Now I know you Aussies operate a little different than us Yanks but 4 days??? You'd better lay off the tinnies for a bit V.

in half an hour we have to turn our clocks around 180deg, so that the upside down gravity can work on them again...lol
We don't do that here. Is that why our work day is such a drag, we're always on the uphill leg?

We covered the clams earlier (above), now I want to show you one of my favorite softies. It's a tough one to ID but, I think it's either a Dendronephthya or Neospongodes. If you know or have an opinion feel free to respond. Considered to be a tough one to keep for any length of time, my experience has been, while they are tough to keep they are not impossible. Not for beginners. You have to do your research. They may be photosynthetic but benefit greatly from supplemental feeding. I use Cyclop-eeze and it responds well to the feedings. Here's a series of pics -
Notice the polyp extension. When I'm going to feed the corals, I turn the pump off and let the circulation stop. Then I gently surround the coral with Cyclop-eeze and let it drift down unto the tentacles.
Here you can see the polyps closed around the Cyclops. I leave the pump off about a half hour and take this time to feed the rest of the corals. I feel if a coral has polyp extension it could benefit from a feeding of Cyclops or baby brine shrimp. LPS corals can benefit from larger food such as mushed up shrimp or scallops.
Some time after feeding, usually 8 to 10 hours your softie will reward you by "melting" into a heap of flesh.
This scares most reefers until a few hours later it recovers and is as beautiful as ever.
Many corals reproduce asexually by budding off. Here is our latest offspring making his first appearance.

Well Rob you have a business, TR. There's nothing wrong with charging a business trip to FL to do a podcast for a non-profit business.
