Glad you are happy with the Koralia pumps. I use different glues for different corals. I use the Super Glue Gel for most stoneys but now and then the SGG just won't do in certain situations, like a big frag. Then I use the 2 part epoxy putty. Cut off what you need, mix it together and stick it to the rock and push the base of the coral into it. work the putty up around the base a bit and it should hold. It sets up under water just fine. You can get it at HD or Lowes in the plumbing department. Be careful, ask for 2 part epoxy and not plumbers putty. Two very different products.
Say good night, Lori.

Finally finished your 135 thread. Thanks for being so thorough and honest in all your posts. It's encouraging to me to see that even a reefer of your experience and expertise can experience the nasties that I (and I guess a lot of us) have experienced and keep on going. I almost gave up a while back when a hair algae outbreak really brought me down.. I finally tackled it with those little bamboo skewers you can buy a pack of 100 for .99 and a good cleanup crew. I've also had green bubble algae (mithrax crabs did best but I guess they are not so good for reefs) and a coraline growth that did finally overwhelm my old acrylic 90 gal. I've learned a lot of patience over the years but sometimes it is difficult. Nice to be here on such a great site with such great people. Now if that I4 would only show up (I'm never patient waiting for new "stuff") I also have the Current USA tower chiller (1/3 hp). It went on a lot when I first got it but I've plumbed it differently and I think that plus the I4 should limit it's use but I guess I won't know for sure until it starts to heat up here in NY. How do you have yours plumbed? It looks like maybe the return is direct to the tank. Thanks again, Matt
Oh, and I almost forgot. Your last pictures of your tank are the best color balance I've seen yet of any Solaris pics. Is this an accurate depiction of your tank in your eyes? Where do you have your % balances set (on the light I mean not the camera) Thanks again.
Amp, your progression has come along way in the few years bud! Crap - do you now get a medal for knowing me that long..lol.. As always my old friend, your tricks no longer reside in your sleeves!

Yes this is an accurate color rendition. It is the I4 series at 100% solar whites and blues (15K according to PFO's specs)

Hey V, old buddy and pal of mine, I deserve a medal for knowing you this long. Thanks for bringing to everyones attention the progression of my 135 from beginning to today. That was a nice gesture. No wonder I like you so much. Now why don't you bring the Misses on over to the right side of the globe so we can have a brewski???

When I set the 135 up I bought too much LR and packed it in because I liked every piece and still sold the excess of 85 lbs. After nearly 2 years, I thought it was too crowded and began selectively removing some pieces. May take out a few more. So it is a remodel, I guess.

Do you feel that you've used much of the Tonga rock? As much as I like the look of the Tonga rocks, I'm always scared that I'm not going to be able to figure out how to attach corals to it or get the aquascaping to look realistic. What's your take?
The Tonga Branch LR is a bit hard to set corals on, true but, I sure like the looks of it.

You remember a controversial posting i made, ooooh, long time ago now.
Keeping the display on a simple approach & free for your livestock to enjoy rather than building our typical "canigetanymoreintoit-yesithinkican" reef walls. Sumps are for filtration & heavy rock piles...lol, Im glad to see a few people starting to open up to the notion. Even you my old friend!
