Patience grasshopper, patience. It was only 36 minutes from your first post to your second. Calm your beating heart, my young friend. It will be revealed but, it's my game and I set the rules!!!

You two are the only ones with the interest so here's another pic.
His shape is more determinable now.

aww gawwd, Amp no good my friend, thats worst for me, cause id say blennie straight up, correct face structure, eye placements, and thats a classic perch motion if ive ever seen one, although in the previous shot it looked way different in the ass end! id even throw the gobbie thing back out there, but the lips just dont fit the bill> not chunky enough in the first shot
the fish as a whole looks more fresh water design than marine!
welcome to shatter cast 101, cause i suck at this!

Reason: to bring both shots together
OK V, you're weeping is really getting to me. So I'll reveal it to all. It's a gobie, referred to as Hana's Blue Gobie, Ptereleotris hanae. And here's a full pic.......
I'd seen pictures but this is the first one I've seen in captivity. Enjoy.

lol, now the defining shots are shown, the trails & the fin setup from this perspective were lost in the translation, close, but no kabana with my efforts!
beautiful looking fish! it loves that alcove by the look of it too, both shots were from that location.
That's his hangout. Hey, I didn't expect anybody to get it. Didn't give you much to go on. He eats like a pig, which is good of course.
Have a great day, V.

remington! thats all ive got to say, how close was i!
like a monkey in a monkey suit, just a bit of overkill>sure kept my interest though!
and we're upside down remember, its night for me! but you have yourself a great day grasshopper squasher!
Wow Amp! That's an incredibly fascinating fish. He's beautiful! What's the survival rate of these guys? Are they not commonly imported? He really is striking!
I'm not really sure about the frequency of importing this fish or the survival rate. I do know he ate at the LFS and I'm stuffing him full of Mysis. So, the chances are good he will live a long time. I'd like to find another to check compatibility. Yes, he is fascinating. He's nearly eel like in motion. Very fluid.

To read all 11 pages of this facinating storyline, but it was well worth it. Very nice the way you explained everything for all who were interested. Thanks so much, hope to see a tank view again soon.
Also based on the money you spend on your hobby....would you be interested in adopting me????
Nice work Amp.

Oh, this is a hoot! I looked at your Bio and I'll have to turn you down for adoption. If you were a little kid I'd consider you for adoption as a Grandchild. I'm running real short on those.
Thanks for the compliment and since you asked, here's two new pictures with the new PFO Solaris LED Illumination System. I posted them in the LED thread but they belong here, too.
This is the 72" 250 watt, 20K Solaris It's adjustable between 6.5 and 20K simply by programing the light feature.
These pics are taken at the full 20K and are a bit blue, however they are not this blue in real life. Something to do with digital white balance I guess.
I'm going to post coral pictures from just before the switch to current pics of the corals. I'm more than a little pleased with growth of the corals.
Thanks again.
Dick
