Beautiful tank. I just love the Elos tanks and yours is coming along very nicely.
Do you have a piece of rock under the crocea? They are a rock boring clam so they like to attach to a piece of rock. They also like to be high in the tank near the light so having it attached to a rock makes it easier to move it up in the tank as well.

A reef tank is like a race car. The faster you go the harder you crash.
Every 60 seconds you spend being angry is a minute of happinesss you will never get back.
You can't change the past but you can change how you react to it;
Added my last fish to my tank tonight. Here he is... Longnose Hawkfish. What a cool fish!!
I also put a picture of my tank when I set it up 9 months ago, and a picture of it today. It's my first tank, and I'm really happy with the progress so far.

Thanks Veriann ! I think I'm definitely maxed out on bio-load, so unfortunately, I'm done adding fish. I'll have to concentrate on corals only now. Here's a list of what I have in my tank now and some pics below.
Longnose Hawkfish
Pygmy Possum Wrasse
Pair Percula Clowns (I still think one of them is an ocellaris)
Orchid Dottyback
Red Scooter Blenny
Coral Beauty
Also have a Sabae Anemone.

Orchid Dottyback (Mine is too fast to get a good picture, so I took this one from online)
My Clowns. The lighter one is a wild caught Percula, and the redder one, who has now turned a deep orange, is tank bred, and my LFS has told me it's a percula, but it sure looks like an Ocellaris to me.

You have a great range in that tank already, definitely a mixed bag to take up oodles of your time with various requirements.
Have you completed your end stocking list or still more on the horizon?
nice, very nice. i really like your tank. got a great crisp feel about it still!
let to vid revolution roll on baby!!!!! thanks pammy, i enjoyed that. Im starting to get a real passion again for the anem clown thing all over again the more is see them in action in other tanks. I love mine, although im bias cause my money bought em. anyways enough about me, this is your tank, make it a regular thing from now on ok!
Thanks Veriann. That's what my goal was, a nice clean open look. And the Anemone / Clown pair was one of the things I wanted most in my tank, so I was thrilled when the clown started hosting.
Bye
Pam
Thanks Carmie! I listen to every one of the podcasts the day they come out, and you're doing a great job!! I've been wanting to get on a live show, but seems I'm always off doing something when they take place.

Thanks Pam. We'll all be there tomorrow! Maybe you can make it then.

Wow. Tank is coming along nicely Pam. I skipped over a few posts a while back. I'll have to go review.
I just noticed that you wrote that you have a Red Scooter Blenny. They are supposed to be picky eaters (difficult to feed), requiring several feedings/day and maintaining a similar diet to Mandarins - but being able to be weened onto "shaved" shrimp and/or brine shrimp (Scott Michael, Marine Fishes). I am wondering what you feed yours, and how well the Blenny is faring.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. I absolutely love that Longnose Hawkfish, which is on my short list. However, I have read that they can prey on more docile, slender fish like dartfish and other gobies. Please let us know if you see any of this behavior. I want to get one, but fear for my smaller fish.
Thanks Rroselavy. My Red Scooter Blenny is doing great. He's really cool to watch. He eats frozen mysis and enriched brine shrimp and has done so since almost the first day I put him in the tank. He's a little too slow to grab much with the big eaters I have (the Coral Beauty and Longnose Hawkfkish), so what I do, is shoot some mysis or enriched brine next to him with a turkey baster, and he grabs some. He now has learned that the turkey baster means food, and will scoot right on his rear tail and tries to pull it right out of the turkey baster. It's really cool to watch him jump off of the tallest part of the rock structure and stick out his big fin on his back, and float down to the sandbed. Very entertaining addition to the tank.
Bye.

Hey again Rroselavy. My Hawkfish couldn't be any more docile. He doesn't go near any of the fish I have in my tank. (Orchid Dottyback which is very slender, Red Scooter Blenny, Pygmy Possum Wrasse, Two Percula Clowns, Coral Beauty). Also hasn't touched my peppermint shrimp, or crabs. He's definitely my favorite fish in the tank now. So cool to watch him swim and perch on the rock.
Bye

It's been 7 weeks since I brought home a very bleached Sabae Anemone. He still doesn't seem to be eating, but you can see by the following two pics how much he has darkened. I think he's going to make it.
