My 29gal seahorse reef

Thanks to carmiejo and phurst, my macroalgae deficit has been filled, and just in time too. My seahorses go out of QT and into this tank either tomorrow or the next day. As you can see i have two macro colonies, the one to the left of the tank is the caulerpa i got from carmie, and the chaeto to the right is from phurst. This bunch also came with a bunch of helpful microstars.

As you can see i reaquascaped a month or so ago and that was the last time i will ever do so, what you see right now will stay. That being said i added some new corals from cappuccino bay aquarium, a sun coral, a colt, and a nice zoo frag.

I hope yall like it and i especially hope that carmie and phurst like what i did with their macros...thanks again guys!

It looks good. Make sure you keep the caulerpa pruned so it doesn't take over your tank.

Very nice. That sun coral colony just pops! We'll of course need to see more pics when the horsies are in their new pad. If I had known you actualy NEEDED the macro, I would have sent more. I just threw it in for the micro-stars to hang out in during shipping.

Yes it was originally waaay too hot, but i took out the stock pump and replaced it with a much smaller powerhead. Its not running at 75-76 degrees during the day. Thats still not perfect but its better than what it was...plus i have air conditioning to keep the house stable.

Yes, they are commonly refered to as the beginner's horse. But it has nothing to do with the hardiness of the horse really. They are all about the same if you get a healthy specimen and you don't want to raise the fry.
