My 42 Gallons HEX
My tank was setup about 1 1/2 years.
SG - 1.25
Ph - 8.2
Temp - 80
Ammonia - 0
ppm Nitrate - .05
ppm Nitrite - .10
ppm
Calcium - 450
ppm
Magnesium - 1200
ppm
Alkalinity - 8.0 dkh
Phosphate - 0
ppm Skimmer 24/7
Weekly Water Changes
Dose with
Kalkwasser in Auto Top-Off
Check Water Parameters Weekly

This week on Thursday I will be recieving my coralife UV Sterilizer which I will be adding to my system. As soon as I add it I will be adding the pictures.

It picks up skimmate but not alot..... I want to upgrade to something better...
This will be my next upgrade and also my
metal halides .
(DREAM) I have everything in my tank ready my 150 gallon upgrade (DREAM)

Yea mine isn't the best but it works great for right now. I empty about a full over flowing cup once a week.
I am throwing around the idea of either a store bought 75gal or a
DIY 90 cube. Not sure yet. Either way I'll have to buy another
MH and a good
skimmer . Thats what stopping me right now is the "other" stuff
lol

The powerheads are the tunze nanostream.... I was thinking of doing a maji-jet mod but I came across these powerheads for about 60 dollars on Marinedepot.... They are working great... The current in my tank is awesome.... I bought two of them and I cant turn both of them on at the same time (too much current, Corals go crazy)
