Cloobs BC29

Well here is my BC29 at 15 weeks. I'm still not happy with the way I have the L/R stacked. Currently I have some room behind the L/R but am finding that the fish are spending more time behind the L/R than in front so I may move it against the back tank wall. I am getting ready to order the 144w Nanocustoms DIY
Factory Retro 29 BC to add more lighting for corals this week.

Good looking tank cloob! Let me know how you like the nanocustoms 144w DIY kit.....I've been thinking about getting it for quite some time now.

What's your room temp? I was hoping they ran cooler.

My room tenp stays between 68-72 degrees. the BC29 runs at 78 during the day with the ballasts running but in the evening when the fans shutdown for the Actinic sunset light it warms to 80 degrees. I could run the tank a little cooler probably if I adjusted the heater some more.

I'm excited today, as I am ordering the Nano tuners lighting upgrade and having it overnighted!

In two weeks I have to go on a business trip for two weeks and I'll have to guide my wife through how to care for the tank while I'm away. SCARY!

Dang! That's too hot for me. I really wish they would address this issue.... all the plug-n-play cube manufacturers.

What temp do you run your tank at? I thought 78-82 degrees for a reef tank was good.

My tank stays around 77. I never hit 80.

Also, the temp variant is quite dramatic... what happens when the my room temp goes up by 10 degrees!

The nanocubes have become quite popular and peeps are getting them for their seahorses which needs to be kept less than 75.
