Actually I'm in port right now, but not for long. It's almost impossible to surf the web while at sea. Like I said it took around 25 minutes just to load the page on Dr's F & S website when I ordered that. It kept timing out and I had to refresh over and over. But I finally got it.
Well I have good news. The service folks there are really good. They are sending me a whole new unit for free and prepaid shipping labels so I can ship the damaged one back. It should be here in a little over a week.
One more thing, this thing is huge, for a nano tank that is.
Actually the MH works. I plugged it in initially just to see if it would work. It did so I shut it down. It must have a very long time delay before you can restart it because it wouldn't let me start it 4 hours after I originally plugged it in. But now after waiting overnight it works fine. Boy, that's a lot of blue. LOL
That's great! Now you can look at your empty tank! (just kidding). They are more blue in the beginning, and once they burn in, the light should shift a little more to the white side. I personally really like the blue look, but that is just me.

The filter box. Overflow on right goes through filter sponge, then ceramic tubes, and bioballs. Water goes under the center section and into the left chamber where a pump sends it back into the tank.
Sorry that it arrived broken Jim, but good to hear that they are helping you out. That light is identical to the one on my nano- they should sell that tank with the 150w option, but I guess overheating may be an issue with too many people. I do love the 14k blue look on my tank though!!
I talked to the customer service lady and she said that the first shipment that they received from the manufacturer didn't come with a lot of packing materials in the box and the new shipment that they received has a lot more. They had a lot of trouble with that first shipment. I obviously got one of the earlier units. I agree with the statement. It only had 1/2 inch of Styrofoam sheeting on the sides of the tank. Not pictured was the glass tank cover that was also shattered.
