Smile 29Gal BioCube Started Nov1,06

Well here is the new tank. I thought I would try these nano cubes. I have a 110Gal Predator tank(FOWLR). I thought I could get the nano going and than frag some of the Corals and eventually start putting them in the FOWLR tank. I just recently came across Victoria's TOTM October and would love to know "Victoria's Secret" That tank is awesome and I would eventualy like mine to look like that one day but for now here are some pictures of my tank and a list of what's in it in short form.

Invertabrates

5 Blue Leg Hermit Crab
2 Red Leg Hermit Crab
1 Emerald Crab
1 Halloween Hermit Crab
2 Orange & Red Hermit Crab
1 Bumble Bee Snail
2 Orange Turbo Snails
3 Zebra Nerite Snails
1 Indo Pacific Turbo Snail
2 Turbo Snails
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Blood Shrimp

Let me know what you think I could do for upgrades. It's really basic for now. I was thinking of going with a Current USA MH light. This tank is only 20inches wide and the Sunpod would be perfect but I would loose out on the actinic lighting. I want to add a Skimmer too but not sure which one is best.

Anyone running a UV sterilizer??? I can pick one up for cheap if you think it's worth it??? Maybe that's Victoria's Secret. Love the tank Victoria!! all jokes aside.

First and foremost... Welcome my friend!

Verry punny... Yeah.. she's got it all going on with that tank... too bad she now has to "debug" her program. She has the darned red, acro bugs.

One suggestion/question... how do the shrimp get along? In a smallish tank, I'd be afraid of the CBS beating the tar out of the others.

Well I have had the BS and CS in for a week together and they have been fine. I just put the CBS in on Wed and they seem to be getting along ok. They were sitting beside each other last night with no fighting. I put the Coral Banded in last and made sure he was a lot smaller than the other 2.

OK for now... time will tell like always

Do you have more than one powerhead in your Bio 29? I started my Bio 29 cycle in November but want to know how other people are setting up their powerheads in their Bio29's.
