A little off topic, but can someone remind me what the baffles are for?
Also, David, i was looking at the pic of your sump/fuge and i was wondering which way the water flows. Does the water start on the left (with the macroalgae) and move to the skimmer last? I thought you typically wanted to skim the water first.

the flow in Dave's tank goes from the outsides in wards to a center compartment, to make sense of this check out his sumpzilla thread, i think he has a diagram in there on how the flow works

Oh okay i see. So the split is to divide the denutrification work between the algae and the skimmer? That makes sense now.

BTW...ask yer better half if she got my pleading email.. I NEED you two to help me with a project. I want to do this so bad I can taste it.. and I want to let Rob know if it is a "yeah" or "nay" soonest.
