More beautiful images. What did you use to get the frame effect? I really like it.

Thanks everyone, the frame effect was in the software that came with the camera. I'm not sure what it is.

How about an update!

We believe our DSB is not functioning properly and are going to be pulling it out next weekend. We reused old sand and believe that to be part of the problem. Pics of the tank to follow after the sand comes out. We will be putting in 1" of sand.

I built a new sump and put it back in the basement. The main reason was because the 45gal. cube sump just wasn't working out well. I had to run filter socks to keep micro bubbles from getting back to the tank, and I had no room in there for any other solution.

Built the new sump out of a 40 breeder and now have no problems with micro bubbles and don't need to use filter socks, yuk! A 10gal. chaeto tank will be hooked up this week and sit next to the sump.

What's the skimmate look like you ask?

Hey Amp., should have another update in a few days. Got some work to do tomorrow morning before the frag swap. This is the 3rd one now and sounds like we have quite a few people coming from surrounding states.

MARS is good, got lots of new faces in the group.

Other than that, WI is good. Got some snow on the ground and a little more coming down as I type. I know you miss the winters here!

Going to IMAC this year? Going to try and make it down on Sunday, but probably won't make the whole thing this year.
