it does not matter if you move him or not ... he will be where he wants to be when he wants to be. they will move to a spot that they like and they will stay there. if you move him ... he will move back. you are fighting a losing battle when trying to get an anemone to stay where YOU want him to. he will ALWAYS go where HE wants to be.

Bobby is absolutely right, AND you can injure/strees them by pulling them from the rock, or wherever it is currently. Just let it find it's own home.

I don't have a bubble tip but I have learned that they don't like high flow areas and like lots of light. You are going to have to change your flow around and make the spot you want him to be at the right flow so he stays put. My anemone moved to the spot I wanted him to move to by putting in powerheads at different spots and moving them around to change the flow to get him to move. It will take a long time. It took me about a month, maybe 5 weeks to get him in the spot I wanted him in.

In my experience it can be done. Its very time consuming and most hobbyist just accept the fact that they are going pick the spot they want and not the spot you want. Anemones are like house cats, they do what you want them to do about .05% of the time.

right well i t was told that a BTA wants high light and high flow... i could re direct one of my hydors but the reason i got him was because my female maroon died and my male (winston) is very sad and just floats about. when i put the anemone in the tank he just lit up like greased lightning. it was like giving a kid an xbox 360 for his bday or xmas. hes happy now though nad my flame angel leaves him alone and he picks on him now. the anems doing great where it is so i just wont fool with it
