ver655351 is an unknown quantity at this point
How high is the ph level in your tank, and what do you have in the tank? Many corals need a higher ph level. Ph should not be above 8.5 from what i have read. If yours is above that, I am sure someone here can tell you how to reduce it, but regular water changes are a must, and might help your situation.

It is actually low @ 8.0.

I usually use Maine Buffer but my alk is at perfect levels and dont want to disturb it.

I just wanted to know if there is something that raises the PH w/o raising the alk.

Tell us a little about your tank and what you have in there.

I could be wrong but i always thought that if your PH was down then your Alkalinity is down as well.

What is your alk? When are measuring pH? What is the air exchange like in your tank? How air tight is your house?

Seawater has an 8.0 PH. This is fine where it is. Stability is more important than a high ph.

I know many who have an 8.0ph and have very successful reef tanks.

If your tank is gradually moving down then you must figure out why and make corrections. If you intend on starting a ph war by forcing your tanks ph up you will probably loose that battle.

What time of the day that you test and the brand of test kit do vary.
