No Idea, but I'll let you know how one of the guys at the local aquarium meetings is doing with his "Aiptasia Bazooka" (his name not mine) basically he fries themoff with light.

I have heard of people using a lighter, but have not tried it

my experience, the nudis dont do well in my main display. they either get eaten or sucked into my pumps. i just nuked some aptasia with a kalk/ro mix last nite. worked great.

I agree with Walrus...get a peppermint shrimp or two. They can definitley cut down on the ongoing cost of getting rid of the aiptasia.
