Bioluminescent macroalgae!!!!

I'm posting pics later tonight when there's no glare from the sun on my tank. So here's the story. When moving my seahorses to a new tank today I had to remove my sweeper pump so they wouldn't be pushed around. Well there was some pretty neat algae on my homemade eductor. I decided to remove the eductor and put it an a tank that is over 50% actinics, lo and behold the tips of the algae glow orange! Has anyone else ever seen bioluminescent macroalgae? I want to know what it is. Pics will be up by 9:30 tonight. SWEET, I can't wait!

Cool Here it is

The fist image is full spectrum. And is ok color representation

The second is actinics only and is spectacular color representation. Both were taken with the pumps off. The white piece it's growing on is a pvc elbow that I made an eductor from.

Here's an ultra-closeup for ID purposes

Very cool. I don't have any idea what it is, but it's definitely cool.

Unhappy Poor Stormy

Damn this cruel world! One of my seahorses looks as though he's not going to make it. I've had him eleven months. Stormy, you will be missed.

Hi Bigwrm,

Very cool macro but I can't ID it either.

Sorry for your loss.

How is the seahorse? Did he pull through?

To bad you aren't closer. I'd ask you to break me off some of that colorful algae

Red face The sehorses are alive for now

Currently they're back in their original tank. But they're still not eating well and sometimes Stormy rests on the bottom. I'm doing my damnedest to keep him alive. Something else changed. After about a week in the new tank it's still growing well but the luminance is gone. I'm gonna put it back in the other tank with the metal halide. Hopefully It'll come back! If it does I'll put some on ebay. I'll post to let ya know.
