brown macroalgae in display tank

Can anyone help me to ID this brown macroalgae that started off the live rock and is now several inches tall? I really like how it looks but would not want it to suddenly do a sexual reproduction and spike the nutrients. Just listened to the macroalgae podcast and it now has me a little worried. Thanks. Steve

it is the long greenish brown structure on the right side of the pic, looks like seaweed you would see in a kelp bed, with small rounds balls that I presume are for flotation. Think it is sargassum macroalgae but not sure if this is a problem in a display tank.

The leaves are a bit more slender and the air bladders are very prominent and shimmer giving it a xmas tree look... but same color and likely family. Thanks as from the link it seems to not be terribly troublesome. Does this sometimes sexually reproduce and give a nutrient spike like caulerpa can?

I've not heard of it going sexual. I would prune it on a regular basis as it can multiply and crowd out other things.
