Your plate coral and feeding

A suggestion I might make, you might already be familiar with, but I will put it out there anyway. To help your feeding dilemma concerning your plate coral, I might suggest taking a 2 liter soda bottle and cut the bottom off. Simply place the bottle over your plate and feed through the small pour opening at the top.

This will perform two tasks. It will protect the plate from outside interference while it eats and also help contain the food items (suspended in the water column) in a smaller area where your plate can more easily feed. This suggestion is only considered if you are on a semi-flat surface where the bottle wont tip over of course and if your plate will fit *within* the opened area at the base of the bottle. Ha!
