Solaris 400W 20K are coming very soon.

PFO informed me today that they will be taking pre-orders for their long awaited 400W 20K Equivalent Solaris light fixtures. Expected delivery date is Mid-May 2007.

The supply is limited and is expected to sell out quickly based on the number of inquiries that have been coming in for them. I know I have a rather long list of reefers on my list to contact about the 400W version.

As expected with any new technology and upgraded versions of new technology, prices are higher. As always, you can get the best price by searching the various sources. Here's a link to our pricing page - Solaris400. We are offering free shipping on the new units for a limited time, like we did on the 250W version. To give you an idea of what the savings on shipping alone is, the 72" unit shipping cost has run between $105 to $118 depending on location from PFO's shipping plant in WA. Take advantage of this. PFO is not offering this savings, we are.

I have placed my order and will post here my findings. I'm excited!!!

One other note of interest to those that want a 250W discounted Solaris. PFO has a LIMITED number of refurbished 250W Solaris units for sale at a deep discount. These units are fully functional but, may have cosmetic blemishes. At the moment I'm assuming the 250's would come with a full warranty except for the blemishes. I have a call into PFO to verify. PM me for details

Any questions can be offered up here or PM me.

Dick
