I just noticed that my 6 line wrasse who has been missing for weeks is alive and well in my overflow. How do I get him out? I tried a net, but it's a tight sqeeze. any tips?

hehe, the same thing happened to me, it was my rose fairy wrasse. i though he jumped from my tank but accidentally overheard him splashing in my overflow pvc pipe. i had to disassemble the whole overflow to get him out. he was ok, just a little startled from the saw i think.

Any room in your overflow to put a bottle trap?

You could use your hands. Any way to flood or drain the overflow...that may help. He shouldn't bite you as long as he's nice, I would try your hands, just make sure they're not dry....but you're probably reaching in so it's ok.
