New Pro salt? H2Ocean...

I was at an internet site as i am in the market for more salt, i usually try anything that is on sale so im not really a die hard some brand fan. I saw this new salt, has anybody heard, tried or seen anything about it. I hate being the first one that reports a problem because some new product dosn't work the way it should. My last batch of salt was 55 glaaon bucket of red sea coral pro. before that Instant ocean.

I never heard of it either. I have been told to avoid salt made in China because of QC issues.

I did really like the coral pro. Say my alk seems to be around 6 dkh when i measure a freash mix of it. Isn't that a little on the low side? Isn't it better to keep it around 9-10?

That is a little low. The range is 7 - 11 dKH, I keep mine between 9 - 10. Here is an article Reefreaders - Chemistry 101 that outlines basic parameters.

I still liked the salt though, I reordered the Red sea coral pro. I will test a new batch and post the results.

where did you order from ?? F&S has it for $55 SHIPPED. i cant get it cheaper than that locally unless i drive for an hour and a half (round trip), but with todays gas prices ... i would rather let them ship it to me.
