Question All my fish are in the corner of the tank???

Hi all;

3 months into my reef tank and all is well. Water parameters are looking strong: NH3, NO2 and NO3 are all 0ppm; ph is 8.2, SG=1.0245, T=78.5, Ca = 380 and dKH is 9.0.

Question....my 2 percula clownfish have always swam in the front left corner of the tank, and now the new BG chromis I added to swim around the tank has decided to skoal with them in the corner.

They all eat fine and react to my presence, otherwise, they hang near the bottom of the front left corner. There is just sand, and now a small umbrella leather coral about 6" away, where they hang out.

Is this normal behaviour for the clowns? for the chromis?
SHould they not be swimming around my 90 gal reef tank?

Any input?

Clowns are more hoverers than swimmers....

O.K.
But what about the chromis. Is it normal for him to skoal with the clowns?

Sounds like you think there really is no problem. I tend to agree, but wanna make sure.

Thanks

both the clowns and the chromis are technically ... DAMNsel fish, so it would not really be unheard of for them to hang out together. now if the clowns were hosting an anemone ... THAT would be a different story.

CarmieJo is on a distinguished road
My first fish was a single chromis and he hid until I put some chromis buddies in there for him.

I kinda agree with Carmie. Every tank I've seen and everything I've read says chromis like to school together. I'd add 2-3 more blue-green chromis and they might start to swim as a school and use all that 90 gallons. Also, my favorite fish (bi-color pseudo) will swim all over that tank and use every nook and cranny it can find.
