hi every one,
this is the first time i have tried posting on tr since joining. i have bought a farly new but used phosban reactor and need to know what size pump i need to get for it for peak performance. i am wanting to install it on my 90 gal reef tank. also what brand of phosphate remover does everyone recomend would be best for the reactor? thank you all in advance.....joe
If oyu are not daisy chaining carbon or purigen adn phosphate remover, use a maxi-jet 400. You can always turn down a bigger pump with the valve, but a 400 should suffice. On my 156g I am using a maxi-jet 1200 daisy chained and turned down a bit - seems to be working great.
thank you for the replies i have had so far. so i should be needing a pump that puts out 100 to 150 gal. per hour? also the reactor i bought did not come with the ball valves or hoses. can i use any 1/2 inch ball valve from like home depot? that is were i plan on getting the tubes i need for it. again thank you all for your suggestions.....
