GARF and Web Wet Media are amazing repositories of information, although they are poorly organized at best. Be prepared to do some digging...

I'll be honest. I've registered and posted at no less than a dozen forums, though I just found Talking Reef. And the best I've found... (drum roll)...
Talking Reef. Hands down. SaltWaterFish.com would be second with it's many knowledgable members, but you can't Private Message or even link a non-competing website! Reef Central is okay, TONMO is great if you happen to be interested in cephlapods (I am), and my local forum is perfect for frag swapping, etc. Oh, honorable mention to reefpedia, though it needs another year of entries.

i couldnt agree with this more..
they have an amazing amount of great info, but unless you get it via a google search or a direct link, your gonna be there a while if your looking for something specific
they are great sites and great people but they layout of the sites leaves alot to be desired

I think one of the things I like about wetwebmedia, in a strange way, is that you have to read through 20 other topics to hit the one you were searching for.... wait that was 20 other things you just learned while searching for just one.......

YA BAYBEE!
yes, while this can be a blessing in disguise, it can also be a real PITA
especially when your trying to go back to reference the details of something you already read...lol
