I run the full battery of tests every Friday religiously and as always this Friday was no different every thing was fine. Well Monday I look at my tank at lunch and none of my green star polyps are out

. Immediately I break out the tests and I have an
ammonia spike

so I start prepping water for a change and as I’m looking around my tank I see something in one of those hard to see back corners. As I’m staring at it my wife asks “what’s wrong you look like a concerned parent.” So I tell her then she starts looking and comments hey where’s the
BTA? Sure enough that’s the purple black blob I’m looking at in the corner

. It kills me to loose my
BTA but those green star’s save my tank! So I siphon it out do a 20% and keep an eye on the tank. Hours later they are back out and happy. My point is indicator coral are GREAT!!!!!
